Our latest contest has now closed. The question was:

Crystal Palace's first ever home game to be played on a Sunday surprisingly attracted our second highest crowd of the season. Goals from Derek Possee and the ever popular Peter Taylor saw Palace run out 2-0 winners and move away from the bottom of the table.

Who were our opponents on the day?

The correct answer was Preston North End, and 26 very clever people out there got it right!

Unfortunately there can only be one winner, plus of course two runners up.

THE PRIZES

First Prize was a Crystal Palace home shirt which has been personally signed by CPISA's sponsored player, Nick Rizzo. Following a ballot of the correct answers this prize went to Colin Morgan of Willetton, WA, Australia (CPISA member #010061005).

Two runners up prizes of a Crystal Palace pen went to Colin Bamford of Ontario, Canada (#441001067) and Sarah Bartholomew of Rongotea, New Zealand (#306064007).

Congratulations to all the winners, your prizes will be on their way to you very shortly. We are just sorry we did not have enough prizes to give all correct entrants something. We do, however, promise to have a far easier question in our next contest.
