CPISA (CRYSTAL PALACE FC INTERNATIONAL SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION)
Jonathan COLLURA and Colin PRYCE - Co-Chairs CPISA
CHARTER
Crystal Palace supporters around the world need to be closer to their Club. Palace is a Club rich in its' supporters and its' tradition. The problem is that these supporters aren't all close to Selhurst Park. When Australia met America, this problem was addressed. It was decided that an association would be created to unite these individuals as one - CPISA. Since our inception in 1997, we have placed ourselves on the map and provided these supporters with a sense of belonging. It is on this incentive that we now open worldwide membership to CPISA. This membership is open to all supporters who live on the planet Earth. Hence, no one is excluded from our membership and we welcome all Eagles supporters to become part of this growing association.
CPISA
CPISA's vehicle to communicate with its' members and to provide the latest news on the association is the internet. As an internet based association, most all of the members are online. This does not however exclude non-internet inclined supporters, who are more than welcome to join CPISA.
CPISA maintains the website. The website is there as a resource for our CPISA members. It covers all levels at the Club (1st team, reserves and juniors) and has become a well acclaimed and used location on the internet.
BENEFITS
So what are the main points of a CPISA membership? We believe that we provide the essentials to Palace supporters around the world and also a chance to become more involved with the Club. All CPISA members receive a unique membership number. This number is to be used as an ID in CPISA and will be needed to prove belonging to our association.
CPISA members can win Palace apparel in an exclusive contest (This contest has been set up with the parent club. ONLY CPISA members will be allowed to enter).
Palace apparel will be made available to members and discounts on various products related to Palace and football in general are going to be made available in time. At this time, CPISA members have a discount with Soccer Books Limited. Please contact CPISA to receive the details on this exclusive discount.
As an association, we have contacts in England who assist us in obtaining tickets for other CPISA members. Please contact us for details on our free service.
Most important to our membership is belonging. You will be linked up with other Palace supporters and a crucial part in a growing and important association. All voices are equal in CPISA. We will address issues to our membership and welcome comments on the Club.
So - what will CPISA cost? We provide the newsletter and the other points in CPISA absolutely FREE. There is no cost to become a member in CPISA. It is also important to note that CPISA also provides two local Clubs in North/South America & Australia. American Eagles and Crystal Palace FC Supporters Club (Australia) are available to CPISA members in those, and surrounding, areas. All members in these two Clubs are CPISA members. To inquire more about these individual Clubs, please contact CPISA.
CPISA has made an impact at Palace over the past three years and coordinates with the Club's various departments. This does not mean that we are run by the parent Club, but rather we cooperate with them to provide a service to our supporters. At the Club, we are a kit sponsor. Reserve striker David Stevens wore the first CPISA sponsored kit in the 1997/98 season and Sasa Curcic, Nicholas Rizzo, Neil Ruddock and Andrejs Rubins followed as each season passed us by. For the past two seasons, including the current one, Gareth Williams has worn our kit, and we trust he will be with us for many seasons to come.
CPISA is growing in numbers and in its' role with the Club. To become a member of this excellent association, please complete the application below and return it (via email) to CPISA. (Note: The details are retained in our records and are not distributed). Upon the completed application's receipt, we will process it and assign a membership number.
