Craig originally played his football for Marconi Fairfield in the Australian League before a Terry Venables move took him, along with a lot of Australians to Portsmouth. Moving with the manager, Craig joined Palace, and soon proved himself a popular figure at Selhurst. Appointed captain towards the end of last season he was injured and has missed the start of the current campaign. His lack of presence is sorely felt, and a quick return is what most supporters want for their next wish.
