Nick joined Crystal Palace late in the close season of 1998 and was one of Terry Venables first signings at the Club. He is an Australian Under-23 international, but carries an Italian passport. Nick has shown a lot of potential due to his time at Anfield in Liverpool's reserves. His signing at Palace parallels the Club's association with Australian side Northern Spirit, an obvious tie with Venables' term as coach of the Australian national team. Nick is a versatile midfielder and moves up the pitch well for the attack. He is a potential goalscorer, something that the Eagles could utilise from the midfield. As an International player, Nick has been chosen to represent Australia at the Olympic games and as such, CPISA chose him as the player to sponsor this season.
